Who the fuck?

Bad Mojo was founded Jan 28 of 2006 in an attempt to procure fast, easy loots and score with women after we'd demonstrated our raiding prowess. Seeing how we'd stepped foot in MC once with Grey Wolves, we soon found ourselves pugging 15 spots for ZG and losing said loots to some asshole on a random. What began as a carebear, family / friend guild progressed into a heavy raiding end content guild. We are now among the top raiding guilds on lolGarona and will continue our drive to see new bosses down in quick order.

Though we have transformed into a more structured raiding guild, we do like to keep the family / friend atmosphere as much as possible. We enjoy our socializing, the usual dick and fart jokes, but we know when to buckle down and get to business to see shit done. This is not your grandmother or your child's guild. We don't invite teenies and most of us have a pretty mature rated sense of humor. If you're a bit of a prude or at all sensitive, you're NOT going to fit in.

We are assholes. If you play like a retard, we will call you a retard. Do not have any misconceptions about this. Listen on Vent prior to transfer if you have concerns. Don't waste your money and time if you've a weak stomach. We expect you to be prepared, studied on fights and playing at your best each and every night.

We take achievements pretty seriously in Wrath and believe they are the new mark of an outstanding guild. Without them, there is little to distinguish a professional guild from the downs guild. We weren't the first to zone into the instances, but we pride ourselves on our swift mastery of the hard modes Blizzard put before us. As such, we were ranked at 90 World and 43 US during the first portion of Wrath via Immortal, 3 Drakes, 5 Min Maly and H:GotR.

If your goal is to pound your head against a wall for hours to see an encounter done right, not simply done or good enough, then this is your home. We are not interested in simply farming content for loot, we're in it for the challenge and the thrill of downing hard encounters with good friends.

What We Maybe Currently Interested In:

ROGUE: Can you top charts, interrupt and move worth shit? If not, don't bother.

Just because a class / spec is listed does NOT mean we are in dire need. It means we MAYBE interested. We do NOT recruit for benches, so we are selective in what we bring in. However, we will ALWAYS entertain exceptional applicants.

What We Expect:

You MUST be social. This is a pretty tight knit collection of friends and nerds who like to discuss strats, specs, PvP, booze and tacos. If you aren't going to participate, don't waste your time or ours. When we aren't raiding, we like to Arena, do drunken PvP BGs on the weekend over Vent, run 10 mans, etc.

You MUST be observant. These aren't tank and spank fights anymore. If you don't have the common sense to move when a wall of fire is coming your way, we don't want you. If you simply don't notice what's going on in the environment surrounding you, we don't want you.

You MUST not be a loot whore. We use open auction DKP as our standard of loot distribution. You earn DKP per hour and per Boss Kill. Officers reserve the right to call discretion on loot, be prepared. You roll on loot appropriate to your class and spec, you are considered the spec you raid with. We don't gear you for PvP and are NOT concerned about your alts.

You MUST retain 85% raid attendance and give notice of absences. If you're an app and you don't post or show for a week, we boot you. Applicant status is held for 30 days, generally speaking. Our schedule is: Sunday, Monday, Wednesday and Thursday, 7 - 11 PM CST. We invite at 6:45 to start raid by 7:00. If this sounds like it'll be an issue, don't waste your time.

You MUST be 18 +. We don't want kids, we don't want drama, we don't want people who aren't in control of their own lives. If you can't act your age, don't contact us.

You MUST have a good internet connection. May sound obvious, but whether you just suck or lag is killing you, we don't want you either way. You could be the pro of WoW gaming, but if your connection sucks, so do you.

You MUST have read, reviewed strats and watched videos on the encounters we have defeated and you have not, those we are working on, and those three ahead of us. If you're coming less progressed, this is not a free ride. We are NOT here to hold your hand. Be mindful and professional in your first impressions with us and make sure we know that you're prepared. We will explain our particular method, but you had better well know your role, the boss abilities, etc.

You MUST have thick skin! If you, or ANYONE, is blowing ass and costing the raid wipe after wipe... expect there to be words on Vent or in tells. This is not a guild where mistake after mistake is ignored and the downs get to play. You will be removed if you don't perform up to par. Wipefests get tense, expect the language and air to reflect that. This is not a carebear guild and as stated previously, if you are at all sensitive or easily offended, this is not your home. Feel free to listen in on Raid Vent prior to making your decision if you wish to test the waters and make sure it's an atmosphere you would be comfortable in.

Lastly, do not apply if you are bordering on burn out or become easily frustrated wiping on progression nights. Do NOT waste our time if you don't enjoy the challenge of end game content.
