Introduction:

Just as a forenote; I am applying to several guilds at this time to find out which is the best fit for me. I don't want to tie myself down and get stuck in a guild before I know I'm going to stick with them for a LONG time. I've been in so many small guilds over the years, and I'm sick of retards and poor management issues. I'm well aware Bad Mojo has none of these problems, and so I've decided I might fit in with your level of professionalism and your kick-ass, fuck you attitude.

My name is Jacob. Most people call me Barny. If you are respected with a name like Barny, you have some kind of rep. It's also a reference to Spongebob Squarepants; Spongebob uses "Barnacles" as a curse, and I'm quite well known for having a sailor-like vocab. Yeah, I watch Spongebob once in a while. It's a good fucking show-- don't get me wrong.

I don't take shit from morons-- even myself. If I act like a moron, I fix it. People are relying on me to kick ass and keep them alive. All it takes is a little bit of effort, which I am MORE than happy to exert.

As you can see, I'm also putting effort into my application, so you guys know I'm not some dumb lazy kid expecting everything to be handed to me. I'm proud of the fact that I work for what I want.

With that said, here are my credentials, as meager as they may be. I'm an oldschooler who is looking to step up his game and kick some ass, stand up above the rest, and find a team of people who I can actually own with. If we fail, I fail with, we curse about it, fix it, and succeed. I want to be part of a real TEAM.

My gear is sub-par, but I've done the best I could with what I have. My guild doesn't like to show up, so my ability to get better gear is fairly limited.


What is your availability to raid?:
I am available to raid weekdays from 6:00PM Server Time until 12:00AM Server Time.

Weekends are usually at my discretion as to work and studying, but I have a large amount of flexibility on weekends, especially for off-night raids, etc


What guilds were you in previously?:
I've been in Divinity, Aftermath, and a few other guilds. The biggest one I can remember was Lunaris, however brief it was-- I quit shortly after joining.

Of course, none of these were on this character; I've had several characters and have had several accounts. I'm looking for a new one, now that I'm done with school and my schedule is solid now.

Do you have any references we can speak with?:
Raajim previously of Divinity. He's been raiding with me ever since Zul'Gurub, and he is an excellent priest-- I've played with him, and even ON his priest for over 5 years.

Teebu of Noctum can advocate for my ability to heal. I've done a few heroics with him, and healed through them successfully wearing less than 1300 gearscore equivelent gear.

What content have you completed in Ulduar 10?:
I have completed all the normal modes, including Yogg Saron with my Hunter back on Hellscream. I have also been in ulduar on Raajim and have completed everything up to Vezax, but the group I was running with didn't have time to continue.

I know the fights well, and I have completed several hard modes on Ryga (Hunter). I've done 1,2, and 3 towers up on FL, Heartbreaker, The two achievements for Steelbreaker and Molgeim, as well as the arm achievement for Kologarn. The one I was most proud of was the Knock, Knock on Wood achievement.

What content have you completed in Ulduar 25?:
Nearly identical except for the hard modes. I had to quit before we got on hard modes. As well, I have only ever gotten to Yogg Saron. We never completed him on 25 man, but that was due to imbalances. Our guild was losing members for dramatic reasons, and was one of the reasons I quit playing.

Other information about yourself:
Well, I'm a 19 year old male who currently attends college, and works part time as a sales representative. I work hard, and I play hard.

I am looking for a solid group of people to raid with some time. I have a lot of raid experience to offer, and I also have many qualities I tknow are rare in raiders these days, mostly due to the influx of douchebag kids getting free epics, and I believe that my qualities are something you guys wouldn't want to miss out on in a raider.

I'm always prepared, I am always informed (and I am usually one to talk to to get informed, if you like discussing strategies), and I am always punctual. All my raid attendance sheets I have ever had were all 100% of my scheduled raid time. I have always been there when I said I would be there, and I still hold pride in that.

I usually only speak when I have something important to say, especially with new faces around. After a while, I do warm up, and I am often quite generous and outgoing. When I'm raiding, I keep my mouth shut unless someone is fucking up bad, or I've been told to talk. Outside of raids, I'm very social, and I am usually the one who talks the most in guilds. At first though, I like to sit back and observe so I know who I'm talking to. I just like to make a good impression so that people will in turn know who I am, and what I offer. Sometimes, I have a mouth like a sailor, and other times, I barely talk at all.

This is a lot of text, I know. I apologize for the large amount of reading, but I just want to stand above the rest.

I'd like a chance to show myself, and play with some good people, and make some friends. As well, I want to make friends with like-minded people who have the same ambition of greatness that I do. When I say I want to plow content, you can be damn sure I know the strategies, and I am ready to kick some butt.

Though I'm new to Priest Healing, and I'm learning new techniques, I already compete with people who have much better gear than I do. I strive to be the best, and I will get there.

That's a shame, really. You guys used to be a great guild back when I played on Garona before WOTLK. I just came back, and I didn't realize you guys split until recently.
